  1. This one is unusual. Spring self-titled comprises 8 ‘native’ tracks and 3 bonus tracks. According to my ears, their bonus tracks are more attractive than native tracks. I mean how many albums to be delivered like this. Well, the native tracks are prog in a blend of psych, pop and folk, with lack of rock attitude, emphasizing in folk and pop colors. Except for “Shipwrecked Soldier” (5:11), all songs are standard effort into prog folk realm, and don’t expect to hear any sounds like Jethro Tull or even McDonald & Giles. The highlights are two bonus tracks “Fool’s Gold” (6:29) and the longest “Hendre Mews” (7:12), capturing more prog and more rock.

  2. Reminded me of King Crimson's first album, 21st Century Schizoid Man excepted. A very pleasent surprise. The singer's voice worked very well with the music.
