My find of the year! Truly stunning album (and the other 3 are no slouches either).

Opening track, Cookbook, is a classic.

Thanks for providing us with this long lost gem.

I was amazed by some articles and reviews about this band, many of them declare Damnation of Adam Blessing as an outstanding underrated band. That’s why I gotta hear it for myself.

Adam’s self-titled debut is a full psychedelic rock effort. The second “Second Damnation” is similar with the debut. The third “Which is the Justice, Which is the Thief” is toward commercial and orchestrated. While the fourth is funkier with some prog tendencies.

Yes, they are psychedelic band. Yes, they got southern attitude. And of course, they play rock music. But, as far as I’m concerned, this band, along with their 4 albums, is/was not superb at all. In fact, a total mediocre, you could still live auspiciously without their albums. Sorry guys. But, I admit some of their songs are good.

Of all 37 songs from their 4 albums, I suggest you to only hear: the hard rocker “Cookbook”, bluesy rock “Last Train to Clarksville” and heavy psych “Hold On” from self-titled debut. Stoner rock “No Way” and “In the Morning”, and funk rock “Ba-dup” from their second. Heavy psych “We Don’t Need It” and slow rock “I Feel Like I Just Can’t Go On” from their third. Also, heavy psych rock “Mrs. Walker”, progger “Nightmare” and the coolest heavy rock “Dawn” from their fourth. Hell, this could be an advice for a compilation!

Just listen, make opinion and mock me.

I haven't heard this album since early 70's, when was real difficult to get prog rock in my country.
I never heard the others albums but, of course, I will download them.
Keep posting !!!
